Job Title: Nurse Aide / Nursing Assistant
Location: Hospitals, Long-Term Care Homes, and Clinics – Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and compassionate Nurse Aides / Nursing Assistants to provide basic patient care and support licensed nurses in various healthcare settings across Canada. This is a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating)
  • Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
  • Reposition, turn, and transfer patients to prevent bedsores and ensure mobility
  • Help patients with mobility aids or walking as needed
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and care equipment
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to nursing staff
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and collecting specimens if required
  • Support nursing team with medical tasks under supervision

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completed training as a Nurse Aide, Nursing Assistant, or Personal Support Worker (PSW)
  • Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, or care home (advantageous)
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a care team
  • English or French language proficiency (depending on location)

Salary Range:

CAD $18 – $25 per hour (depending on experience and province)
