Job Title: Public Health Worker

Job Summary:

We are hiring passionate and community-driven Public Health Workers to help promote health, prevent disease, and improve the well-being of individuals and populations across Canada. This role involves outreach, health education, data collection, and collaboration with healthcare providers and community leaders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement community health programs and awareness campaigns
  • Educate the public on topics such as disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and mental health
  • Conduct home visits, health screenings, and follow-ups
  • Assist in vaccination drives, emergency responses, and outbreak investigations
  • Gather and analyze data to assess community health needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, schools, and local authorities
  • Advocate for underserved and vulnerable populations
  • Promote access to healthcare services and monitor program effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate documentation and submit reports to public health authorities

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Public Health, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in health education, outreach, or community services (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and in multicultural settings
  • Proficiency in English or French (depending on location)
  • Strong organizational and data management skills

Salary Range:

CAD $45,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience and province)
