Job Title: Dental Technician
Location: Dental Laboratories and Clinics, Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are looking for detail-oriented Dental Technicians to design, construct, and repair dental appliances such as dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic devices. This technical role supports dentists in delivering customized, high-quality oral solutions for patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create dental prosthetics based on dentist specifications and impressions
  • Design and fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, retainers, and implants
  • Use wax, metal, ceramics, and acrylics to mold and cast dental appliances
  • Operate specialized equipment such as dental lathes, furnaces, and CAD/CAM systems
  • Polish, adjust, and repair dental devices to meet quality and functional standards
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders and materials used
  • Follow safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols in the lab
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure proper appliance fit and aesthetics

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Dental Technology
  • Experience in a dental lab setting (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy, materials, and lab techniques
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) is an asset
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Language proficiency in English or French (based on region)
  • Certification with the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario or other provincial regulatory body (or eligibility to register)

Salary Range:

CAD $45,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience and location)
