Job Summary:

We are hiring Healthcare Support Workers to assist medical teams in delivering high-quality care to patients in hospitals, long-term care homes, and community settings across Canada. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about patient care and supporting daily healthcare operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Help with mobility, repositioning, and transferring patients safely
  • Support nursing staff in monitoring vital signs and reporting patient observations
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing equipment and patient areas
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
  • Assist during rehabilitation exercises or therapy sessions
  • Prepare and serve meals or assist with nutrition needs
  • Record basic health data and update patient records under supervision
  • Escort patients to appointments or within healthcare facilities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate in healthcare assistance, caregiving, or related training (e.g., PSW, HCA)
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Previous experience in a care or hospital setting (advantageous but not mandatory)
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • English or French language proficiency depending on the region

Salary Range:

CAD $18 – $25 per hour (depending on province and employer)
