Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Tech) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Accurately position patients and equipment to capture the correct diagnostic image
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for patients, staff, and self
  • Maintain patient records and imaging documentation in accordance with regulations
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images
  • Prepare and maintain imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients during procedures
  • Adhere to professional standards, facility policies, and ethical practices

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Medical Radiologic Technology
  • Current registration and licensure with the provincial regulatory body (e.g., ACMLT or equivalent)
  • Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging techniques, and radiation safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in clinical radiologic technology (new grads welcome to apply)
  • Experience with digital imaging systems (PACS/RIS)
