Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Hospitals, Rehabilitation Centers, Community Clinics – Canada
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are hiring qualified and compassionate Occupational Therapists to help individuals regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities. This role supports patients recovering from illness, injury, or disability, helping them live fuller and more functional lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities of patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily functioning
- Teach patients techniques to perform tasks such as dressing, cooking, or working
- Recommend adaptive tools and modifications for home or workplace environments
- Monitor patient progress and update care plans accordingly
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, physiotherapists, nurses)
- Maintain detailed clinical records and reports
- Promote patient engagement and emotional well-being during therapy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Licensed or eligible for licensure with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT) or relevant provincial regulatory body
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of rehabilitation principles, assistive technologies, and therapy strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English or French language proficiency (depending on province)
Salary Range:
CAD $38 – $50 per hour
Annual Estimate: CAD $75,000 – $100,000+ (based on location and experience)
