Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and compassionate Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing drug-related information to patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret physician orders and prescriptions to ensure appropriate medication use.
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal standards.
  • Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, interactions, and storage.
  • Monitor patient medication therapies and provide drug-related information to medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate records for controlled substances and other medications in accordance with legal and institutional requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to evaluate and manage drug therapies for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmacology, pharmaceutical practices, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid and current pharmacist license in [Insert State or Region].
  • Strong knowledge of drug composition, chemical properties, and interactions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
