Orbit Hires is an independent search studio. This page explains what personal information we handle, why, and how to get it changed or removed. Questions go to hello@orbithires.com.

People who book a call

When you book a call we collect what you enter in the booking form — typically your name, email address, company and anything you tell us about the role. We use it to schedule the call and to run the search if we work together. The booking and calendar invite go through our calendar provider.

Visitors to this site

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t follow you across other sites, and reports only aggregated numbers. We don’t run advertising trackers.

People we contact about roles

To run searches we gather professional information about potential candidates from public sources (such as professional profiles and company websites) and from data providers. That can include your name, job history, education and work or personal contact details. We use it to judge fit for roles we’re hiring for and to contact you about them.

We may share a summary of your professional background with a client while calibrating a search. We only introduce you to a client, and share your contact details, after you’ve told us you want to talk about the role.

Every outreach email lets you opt out, or you can email hello@orbithires.com. Once you opt out we stop contacting you and keep only the minimum needed to make sure it stays that way.

Who else sees it

We use service providers to run the business — hosting, email and calendar, and candidate data providers. They process information on our behalf. We don’t sell personal information.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing hello@orbithires.com. We reply within 30 days. We keep information only as long as it’s useful for searches or required by law.
